Having started his career working on titles such as i-D, British GQ and Arena, James Sleaford became the first fashion director of French GQ in March 2008 and stayed there for nine years helping to shape men’s fashion in France. His modern approach to menswear mixes tailoring with streetwear, original casting and photography to create seductive imagery.

In the last year, James has gained valuable experience working as Online Fashion Editor at Browns Fashion & Farfetch directing and overseeing trend boards, special imagery shoots and casting diversity.

London-based James is currently contributing to 10 Men, Re-Edition, Hero, Behind the Blinds, Ansinth, Man About Town, Esquire and Mr Porter.
